The Abigail

The original Abigail was both home and constructive space for young and talented members of the Columbus arts community. After some time, the building was no longer able to serve as the creative haven it had once been.

People lived, connected, and created at the old Abigail. Our Abigail is meant to serve a wider audience but still capture the spirit of its past; a spirit of living on the vanguard of the downtown community.

Our tenants are primarily in their 20’s. They are students, members of the arts community and young professionals, who care about all things creative and qualitative.

The Abigail strives to be an authentic environment, supportive and open to all pursuits and lifestyles. Whether you are an up-and-coming artist at CCAD, a nurse at Grant Hospital, or an accounting student at Columbus State, we welcome you to live here and share with us.

Discovery District/Downtown area – The Abigail - 369 East Gay Street – This is a Studio style, 1 bath home located on the Gay Street Corridor. The Abigail is the first urban living experience specifically built for students and recent grads who are interested in living downtown. The Abigail is within a short distance to all the major college and universities in the area as well as major employers. Parking is available through area schools, employers and private lots. We do not provide parking, but would be happy to arrange a spot for you. It is our sincere hope that living at The Abigail will allow you the luxury of not having to rely on your car.
